If you are already familiar with internet mailing lists and wonder why these instructions differ slightly from those you are familiar with then please see below for the gory details.
Please tell anybody that you think may be interested in the subject of Home Zones about the list.
The more people with an active interest in Home Zones who join the list the more all will gain from the discussions that will ensue.
The Gory (and sometimes technical) Details:
For details on how to subscribe and post to the list see the 'Management Summary' above.
The list is called homezones-discuss-l and is hosted on the homezones.org domain.
The instructions on how to subscribe to this list differ from the more normal Majordomo lists that you may be familiar with because the homezones.org domain is hosted on a shared computer with a number of other domains. As a result, most instructions to the automated list handler must have '_site64' appended to them for the time being.
You will need to keep this in mind when requesting the automated list server to perform tasks for you, because as far as the Majordomo software is concerned the list is called homezones-discuss-l_site64 and is hosted on the webtrafix.net domain.
Research is underway to eliminate this problem for the future, but for now caution will need to be exercised when instructing the service to perform operations on your behalf.
The main exception to this is the actual act of posting a message to the list itself.
Thankfully, and as noted above, this remains the more intuitively familiar homezones-discuss-l@homezones.org
